Abandoned Horses and Fly-Grazing |
||
|
The Rural Crime Team have noted a couple of reports recently regarding fly-grazing within Warwickshire.
Fly-grazing is when an owner allows their horse(s) to graze from another landowners land without their permission.
As the landowner there is a useful guide on what you can do about abandoned horses and fly grazing on the following link from The British Horse Society. Fly grazing horses: legislation & notices | The British Horse Society
If you have any concerns with fly-grazing then please report to police via 101/ www.warwickshire.police.uk and always 999 in an emergency.
Furthermore if you have concerns for the horse(s) welfare then please report this directly to the RSPCA. You can do this via Report A Concern | RSPCA - RSPCA - rspca.org.uk
Kind regards,
